Tan Xuguang: Sinotruk Once Again Sets a New Export Record for the Global Heavy-duty Truck Industry

At 10:00 am on March 1, the last batch of trucks in the "Sinotruk Wins Together with the World" 14,000 heavy-duty trucks export in February 2024 was sent out in Jinan Customs Comprehensive Free Trade Zone. Liu Wei, Director of Jinan Customs, Tan Xuguang, Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group and Sinotruk Group, and Wei Guangyuan, General Manager of Shandong Branch of China Export and Credit Insurance Corporation, participated in the event.
Liu Wei congratulated Sinotruk on its monthly export of more than 14,000 vehicles. Sinotruk has become the largest heavy-duty commercial vehicle production base in China, he said. Jinan Customs will explore the upgrading of the vehicle promotion mode of regional and port linkage, further improve the efficiency of vehicle clearance, and support Sinotruk to go global with high quality.
Tan Xuguang said that in January and February this year, Sinotruk’s exports exceeded 13,000 units and 14,000 units, and profit growth was higher than revenue growth, achieving real high-quality development.
Liu Wei and Tan Xuguang jointly shipped 50 Sinotruk heavy-duty trucks out of customs.
Ren Guangfeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Jinan High-tech Zone, Yang Bingwen, Director of Quancheng Customs, Zhang Jun, Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Jinan Comprehensive Protection Zone, and more than 700 people participated in the activity online and on site, including management of Sinotruk, overseas companies and overseas personnel.
